Aser Ventures will be supporting the HYPE SportsTech Global Virtual Accelerator, offering insight and guidance to a group of innovative start-ups looking to combat the challenges of Covid-19.
Aser Ventures will join Paris St Germain, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles FC and others to review the entries of the approximately 20 start-ups participating in the programme. The shortlisted start-ups will all be focused on delivering solutions to the challenges currently faced by the sports industry – from new digital content personalisation tools to technology that supports social distancing in sports stadia.
Aser Ventures is an investment platform specialising in sports, media and entertainment, with a portfolio that includes Leeds United, ELEVEN SPORTS, Whistle, Easyprod, Hellodi, Sports Data Labs, One Football, BASE and Epico. Aser marries investment with deep market expertise, making it uniquely placed to drive value for its partners, companies and their end users. Aser will apply its blend of sports industry and investment experience to evaluate submissions to the Accelerator and provide support to the participating start-ups.

The Global Virtual Accelerator is part of a SportsTech Accelerators network run by HYPE Sports Innovation in 12 location worldwide including with FC Koln from the Bundesliga, NYU, Loughborough University in London. The virtual program will run for 8 weeks, with a focus on creating pilots with top clubs and leagues and creating new fundraising opportunities for the start-ups.
